The dough for the layers is made extremely simply. Take all the ingredients for the dough and mix them in a bowl. Knead until you get an elastic dough. Divide it into three parts. Bake three layers in the oven at 180 degrees on baking sheets. They should rise well and turn golden brown.

Now cut the cake layers into elongated pieces, slicing them not only lengthwise but also dividing each one into two parts. You should end up with ten identical cake pieces. Brew a strong tea in a cup. Thoroughly soak the cake pieces with the tea.

Now it's time for the cream. For this, mix sour cream and heavy cream in a deep bowl. Choose homemade sour cream without a pronounced tangy flavor. The cream must be high-fat. Add sugar to the sour cream and cream mixture, and stir until the sugar crystals are completely dissolved. Refrigerate the cream for several hours to chill thoroughly.

Start "building" your future cake. Take one tea-soaked cake layer and place it on a tray. Generously spread cream on top. Then add another cake layer and again spread it with cream. Repeat this process until all the layers are used up.

Place the cake layers with cream in the refrigerator to let them set together. When the cake has firmed up, take a sharp knife and trim the layers into the shape of a locomotive, cutting off all excess pieces.

Now coat the locomotive cabin with green coconut flakes and the rest of it with blue ones. Peel the kiwi, banana, and tangerine. Cut wheels and window squares from the kiwi. Also, shape a piece of fruit into a cylinder to represent the chimney. Use tangerine segments to make the grille and the top of the cabin. Cut the banana into strips and place them on the front grille of the train. Put the finished cake into the refrigerator for several hours to set.
