Children's compote from dried fruits
Description
The recipe won't take much time. For a tasty dried fruit compote, about half of the dried fruits should be apples. The rest is up to you: apricots, plums, raisins, pears, etc. If you're preparing it for diabetics, you can omit the sugar entirely. That's it. Ready to serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for the compote.
- 2
Step 2

Check the dried fruits to make sure there is no dirt or extra twigs on them.
- 3
Step 3

Then pour water into the bowl and rinse with warm water. Repeat the procedure two or three times.
- 4
Step 4

Put 2 liters of water in a saucepan to heat; when it is almost boiling, add the dried fruits.
- 5
Step 5

Bring to a boil, then add sugar. The amount depends on your preferences. I don't add too much, so it's not overly sweet (definitely less than 100 grams).
- 6
Step 6

Boil the compote over low heat for about 20-25 minutes. Then let it cool down, and it's ready to serve. This is a rich and flavorful dried fruit compote for children.
