You can certainly cut the flowers by hand, but then be prepared to spend a little time on it. Overall, I think there's huge room for creativity here. Essentially, these wonderful edible flowers can be cut not only from sausage and cheese, but also from a wide variety of vegetables. Keep this recipe in mind — the kids will be delighted. Prepare all the ingredients. Use any cheese and sausage you like.

Using the largest cutter, cut flower shapes from the bread.

Dry-toast the bread in a dry skillet on both sides.

Using a slightly smaller mold, cut the same flower shapes from the sausage.

Cut out cheese shapes using the smallest mold.
