Dessert
Description
My version of this dessert is really very simple, but serving it in the shape of a seed makes it more original. I highly recommend preparing this delicious dessert for your kids for the New Year—I'm sure they will love it.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. I will use store-bought jelly, but you can make it yourself at home by simply dissolving gelatin in fruit juice according to the instructions on the package.
- 2
Step 2

Let's start with the dessert base. Crush the cookies into crumbs.
- 3
Step 3

Cut the slightly softened butter into pieces and mix with the crushed cookies. Quickly mix thoroughly until a firm ball forms. Wrap this ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Now you can proceed in two ways: either prepare the jelly directly in the "Pit" mold, or make it in a large container and then use the same mold to cut out the individual desserts. Since I only have one "Pit" shaped mold, I decided to go both ways at once—one dessert I made directly in the mold (green color), and the orange-colored dessert I prepared in a large container. So, place the "Pit" mold onto a flat plate and evenly spread the biscuit and butter mixture on the bottom to form a base layer (about 7 mm thick).

Step 5

Place pieces of fruit on the cookie (you can choose fruits by color, as I did, or select contrasting fruits).
- 6
Step 6

Prepare the jelly according to the instructions usually indicated on the package. I dissolved the contents of the packet in 300 ml of boiling water, stirring vigorously until completely dissolved. Now, let the jelly sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes, until it cools down and begins to set, becoming viscous. Actually, you can prepare the jelly in advance while the dessert base is still in the refrigerator.
- 7
Step 7

Fill the mold with jelly to the brim and refrigerate until the jelly is completely set. If you are preparing the dessert directly in a container, follow the same steps, but I recommend lining the container with plastic wrap beforehand—it will make removing the dessert much easier.
- 8
Step 8

The jelly has set, now the question is: how to remove the mold. It's simple. Take a clean cloth napkin or even a regular paper towel, thoroughly soak it with boiling water and squeeze it out. Quickly wrap the mold around the edges with these towels, which will heat up the mold, causing the jelly around the edges to melt slightly—and then the mold will come off easily.

Step 9

Decorate the dessert with fruits and serve!
