Dessert with ice cream, strawberries, and cookies

It's best to use vanilla ice cream so as not to overpower the strawberry flavor. Any crumbly cookies will work, for example, "Yubileynoye." The ready dessert can be served immediately.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making the strawberry and cookie ice cream dessert. Sort through the strawberries, rinse them, and dry. Take the ice cream out just before adding it to the dessert so it doesn't melt.

Crush the cookies—I used oatmeal cookies—into crumbs and distribute them into dessert glasses or ramekins.

Remove the stems from the strawberries. Blend half of the berries with sugar in a blender, and cut the other half into small cubes. Combine the puree and the pieces, then mix well. Spread the strawberry mixture over the cookies.
