Potato pancakes
Description
The recipe won't take much time. What could be easier to prepare than a dish like draniki! Frying potatoes is also not bad at all. But sometimes you want to diversify the menu, especially when using the same ingredients. By the way, these draniki can easily replace cutlets, and although they contain no meat, they make a perfect main course. The dish is ready. Serve it at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

Peel the potatoes. Grate them on a coarse grater. You can use a food processor, setting it to the coarse grating mode. Break a couple of eggs into the potato mixture.

Step 2

Then chop the onion into small cubes. If you are using a mechanical appliance, feel free to add the onion there as well. Next, add a handful of flour. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 3

Heat the frying pan. Pour in some refined sunflower oil and place the potato pancakes into the pan. Don't skimp on the oil, otherwise the draniki may burn or dry out. As you understand, it's better not to add water, so that the pancakes don't fall apart.

Step 4

Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown. When the pancakes are cooked, place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Serve best hot with sour cream.
