Dener in lavash
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Colorful and hearty donairs in lavash can be made in 10-15 minutes and served for lunch, dinner, or as a snack. To prevent the cabbage from being too crunchy, its shredded pieces should be thoroughly kneaded with salt and fresh herbs. Garlic sauce or mayonnaise can be purchased at the store. The ready dish can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Pre-fry the chicken fillet and peeled potatoes in a pan or on a grill.
- 2
Step 2

Shred the white cabbage into strips and place it in a deep container. Wash and chop the fresh herbs, then add them to the cabbage. Instead of green onions, you can use marinated onion. Add salt and gently mix with pressure so that the cabbage releases its juice.
- 3
Step 3

Lay the lavash on a cutting board and spread garlic sauce or garlic mayonnaise on one half. Place the cabbage mixture on top of the sauce.
- 4
Step 4

Wash the tomato and slice it into half-rings, removing the green core. Place on top of the cabbage.
- 5
Step 5

Slice the gherkins or pickled cucumbers and place them on top of the cabbage.
- 6
Step 6

Cut the grilled chicken and grilled potatoes into strips. You can pre-fry the potatoes as French fries.
- 7
Step 7

Pour the sauce over the filling and roll up the lavash into a roll, being careful not to press too hard on the filling so the lavash doesn't tear.
- 8
Step 8

Sear the doner on both sides either on an electric grill or in a pan without oil.
- 9
Step 9

Cut the doner in lavash in half and serve hot with sauces, sour cream of any fat content, thick yogurt, or a sour-milk drink.
