
Danish Sandwiches
Description
This appetizer is quick and easy to prepare. Today we will make sandwiches with two filling options — ham and fish; we will also add eggs, beets, onion, and a pickled cucumber. These sandwiches are perfect for lunch, and you can also serve them at a festive table. In general, there are many ways to prepare Danish open-faced sandwiches. Keep this in mind and make them for your loved ones. They can be served warm or chilled.

Prepare all the ingredients. Boil the beets and chicken eggs in advance.

Toast the loaf or bread slices in a dry skillet for 1–2 minutes on each side.

Spread butter on two slices of bread.

Slice the boiled beets and place them on top of the bread.

Place several slices of ham on top.

Add the salted pickle sliced into thin slices, and also add some red onion, sliced into half-moons or cubes.

Spread butter on two more slices of bread. Slice the hard-boiled egg into rounds and place on top of the bread.
