Georgian-style tabaka chicken

60 min4 serv.19 февр. 2026 г.

Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. As always, all genius is simple! The same goes for Georgian-style chicken tabaka: one medium chicken, spices, a clay pan (called "keci" in Georgia), and spices. Without Svan salt, the chicken won't be Georgian anymore. This mixture usually includes coarse salt, fenugreek, thyme, saffron, coriander and dill seeds. Usually, you can buy the ready-made mix at the market. Sometimes hot pepper is added, so be careful if you don't want your chicken too spicy. The finished dish can now be served.
