Chicken on
Description
A delicious addition to everyday and festive dishes. Chicken on a "green bed" is a very simple dish that takes just minutes to prepare—the key is marinating the chicken in advance. The dish turns out incredibly juicy thanks to a unique, authentic Asian sweet-and-sour sauce. The spinach bed further enhances the dish's delicate flavor. I'm sharing the recipe. Serve the sauce with meat, fish, or use it as a salad dressing.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the chicken into medium pieces, add wine, and let it marinate for 30 minutes. Mix soy sauce with broth, salt, and sugar.
- 2
Step 2

When the chicken breast has marinated, coat it in starch.
- 3
Step 3

Then fry in a pan with vegetable oil. Remove the chicken to a separate dish.
- 4
Step 4

Wash and peel the garlic and green onion, then finely chop. Fry in vegetable oil for 1-2 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Add the spinach to the garlic and onions, and simmer everything for two minutes over high heat.
- 6
Step 6

When everything is fried, place the spinach on a plate. This will be our "green pillow."
- 7
Step 7

Add the chicken back into the same skillet, add the broth and sauce mixture, then add chili pepper and vinegar.
- 8
Step 8

Simmer the chicken until the sauce begins to thicken from the starch. Literally 2-3 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

The dish is ready, remove the chicken, place it on a "bed of greens," drizzle with sauce, and serve.
