Cauliflower is delicious
Description
How to tell if your cabbage is ready? Ovens vary, and you want everything to turn out perfectly—well-cooked and not burnt. Here's a tip: your cabbage is done when it turns golden brown and tender (you can test it with a fork, for example). Sometimes I add cheese, turning the cabbage into an excellent all-purpose snack. Highly recommended!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
First, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 2
Step 2
Remove the leaves from the cabbage, wash it, and divide into florets, then slice each floret into slices (0.5-0.7 cm wide).
- 3
Step 3
Place the cabbage into a deep container. Add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. Generously season with salt and pepper.
- 4
Step 4
Gently mix the cabbage by hand so that the oil, salt, and pepper are evenly distributed throughout all the pieces.
- 5
Step 5
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place cauliflower slices on it. You can pour the remaining oil on top.
- 6
Step 6
Bake for about 25–30 minutes, flipping the cabbage to the other side once halfway through cooking. If desired, sprinkle the cabbage with grated cheese a couple of minutes before the end of cooking.
