Cauliflower in the oven
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Cauliflower baked in the oven according to this recipe turns out not only tasty and visually appealing, but also healthy, as the vegetable retains most of its beneficial properties. I borrowed this oven-baked cauliflower recipe from my friend, who is obsessed with healthy eating. Of course, the sauce idea was mine, to give the cauliflower at least some flavor—she's the kind of person who'd happily chew raw grass, while I still have a bit of a gourmet in me :) Overall, though, the dish is not very high in calories and is quite nutritious. I usually serve oven-baked cauliflower as a side dish to meat, but it can also be enjoyed as a standalone vegetable dish. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Rinse the cauliflower thoroughly under running water and dry with a paper towel.
- 2
Step 2

Separate it into florets using a knife and your fingers :)

Step 3

Then, in a convenient bowl, place the chopped butter, add flour, garlic powder, and gradually pour in the milk, stirring constantly.
- 4
Step 4

The mixture should be quite runny. We dip each piece of cauliflower into this mixture. Thoroughness won't hurt here ;)

Step 5

Place the cabbage on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in an oven preheated to 220°C for about 15–20 minutes. Then reduce the oven temperature to 160°C and continue baking for another 20 minutes.

Step 6

You can dip the cooked cauliflower in any of your favorite sauces. I mixed it in a spicy Chinese sauce, adding a little olive oil. Sometimes I mix it with a combination of ketchup and mayonnaise. Very tasty!

Place the cooked cauliflower on a plate and serve as an appetizer.
