
Turkmen bread
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. A great alternative to the usual lavash — homemade Turkmen chorek. Its taste is no different from lavash or bread, but it has its own special touch. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

1. Prepare the dough: sift the flour and add yeast, water, and salt to it. Place the starter in a warm spot to let it rise slightly.

2. Add flour and vegetable oil to the sponge. Knead the dough and set aside to rise for another 50 minutes.

3. After kneading the dough, divide it into portions and shape each into a flat round. Transfer the round onto a baking pan, then use a knife to create decorative patterns by lifting the edges. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes.

4. Bake the bread for 15 minutes at a high temperature, then for another 3 minutes at 160 degrees.
