Homemade lollipops
Description
The recipe won't take much time. While cooking the syrup, it's important not to miss the moment when it starts changing color, so keep stirring and watch its consistency. After pouring it into spoons, wait until the temperature allows your fingers to tolerate the hot syrup before rolling into balls. If the mixture thickens in the saucepan, gently reheat it, then pour into spoons—the properties won't change. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, mix the juice and sugar. Place over low heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the syrup begins to change color. This will take about 40 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Remove the finished syrup from the heat.
- 4
Step 4

Take tablespoons. Pour the syrup into the spoons and let it cool slightly.
- 5
Step 5

As soon as the mixture can be handled, take it off the spoon and roll it into a ball.
- 6
Step 6

For the sticks, I used wooden skewers, which I broke into several pieces. Insert the sticks into the candy balls and let them dry in an upright position.
- 7
Step 7

Wrap the lollipop in wrappers.

Step 8

Store the lollipop in a cool place.
