Chudu with potatoes
Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. Let's make chudu with potatoes at home. You can add herbs and any other ingredients you like to the filling, if desired. I'm offering a classic version of this dish, but of course, nothing stops you from using your imagination :) Take a look,
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Boil the potatoes until done. Then mash them (dry) into a puree and mix with grated cheese. This will be the filling.
- 2
Step 2

Mix a soft and elastic dough from kefir, flour, salt, and baking soda. Divide the dough into portions (small circles). Kefir should preferably be at room temperature.
- 3
Step 3

Roll out each piece into a thin round layer.
- 4
Step 4

On one half of the dough layers, we place the filling that we prepared from the beginning.
- 5
Step 5

Fold over the loose part of the dough. Carefully pinch the edges together with your fingers to prevent the dough from tearing.
- 6
Step 6

Sear the chudu on a dry skillet on both sides until a nice golden crust forms.
- 7
Step 7

Brush the finished treat with soft butter and serve.
