Chkmeruli in Georgian style
Description
Chicken Chkmeruli is prepared simply and relatively quickly, not counting the marinating time. Use any spices you like and have on hand. Often, the purely Georgian seasoning khmeli-suneli is used. As for herbs, besides parsley, you can also add cilantro. However, not everyone likes this herb due to its distinctive smell. Usually, a whole small chicken is used for cooking. But this is not mandatory—using half a chicken or separate pieces won't affect the taste at all. Chkmeruli is tender chicken meat in a wonderful, aromatic, and delicious creamy sauce.
