Cheesecake in the Air Fryer

Description

Baking is simple and quick. To make it, I used a handy 20 cm silicone baking mold. Use any shortbread cookies you like, but they must be plain, with no filling. For cream cheese, Philadelphia is ideal, or use whatever you prefer. Don’t swap powdered sugar for regular sugar. I always bake cheesecake in the air fryer covered with foil only, so the heat spreads evenly through the whole cake. Serve chilled or slightly warm.

    Gather all ingredients on the table.

    Break the cookies into pieces and place them in the blender bowl.

    Turn on the blender and grind the cookies into fine crumbs.

    Pour the fine sandy crumbs into a spacious bowl and add the melted butter.

    Using a spatula, mix these ingredients until you have a smooth, homogeneous mixture.

    For cooking in the air fryer, I use a silicone mold — it's very convenient. Spread all the shortcrust dough on the bottom of the mold and press it into an even layer with a masher or the bottom of a glass.

    Prepare the cheese filling. Place the cream cheese in a bowl and add the powdered sugar.

    Slowly drizzle the cream into these ingredients while beating with a mixer. You should end up with a smooth, creamy mixture.

    Beat the eggs into the creamed butter mixture.

    Using a mixer, beat the eggs into the mixture until smooth and homogeneous.

    Cover the pan with the cheesecake well with foil and place it on the lower rack of the air fryer basket. Bake the cheesecake in the air fryer at 150 degrees. I baked the cheesecake for 1.5 hours. Please note that different air fryers may vary in power, so your baking time may differ from mine.

    The finished cheesecake must be chilled after baking, and only then removed from the pan. It is even better to leave the cheesecake in the pan overnight and transfer it to a flat serving plate in the morning.
