Description

Delicious pastry for the whole family. Cheesecake with cereal flakes and apples is a completely new take on cheesecakes. And if, as indicated in this recipe, you also drizzle it with liquid caramel before serving, not everyone will even realize that this lovely little cake is actually a cheesecake. I haven't seen such a cake in any coffee shop or any pastry shop. So if you're tired of standard cheesecakes, try making this one — you'll surely love it. Good luck

    So, here we go. First, mix 100 g brown sugar and 140 g flour. Add 230 g butter to the same bowl and, using a fork, rub everything together until it resembles coarse crumbs.

    Spread the resulting mixture evenly over a baking tin greased with butter. The dough should be pressed down as firmly as possible. Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes at 170 degrees.

    Meanwhile, in a large bowl, beat the cheese with the sugar. Gradually add the eggs to the mixture, continuing to beat. Finally, add the vanilla and mix.

    Pour our cheese filling over the slightly baked dough.

    Peel the apples, cut them into small pieces, and mix with cinnamon and granulated sugar.

    Arrange the apples on the cheese filling.

    Then in a small bowl mix the remaining flour, flakes and another 100 g of brown sugar. Add the remaining butter and rub everything into crumbs.

    Cover the cheesecake with a layer of this crumble.

    Bake for 30 minutes at 170°C. About 5 minutes before it’s done, you can lower the temperature slightly to 140–150°C. Serve drizzled with liquid caramel.
