Cheeseburger in French Toast
Description
First, I'll explain why, for me, a cheeseburger in French toast tastes better than a regular American cheeseburger in a bun — it's simple: a cheeseburger in French toast bread comes out much juicier, more tender, and more aromatic than the regular one. The cheese melts inside and becomes very soft, and a beautiful egg crust forms on top. Of course, this kind of cheeseburger takes longer to make than a regular one, but I assure you: it's worth it! Well then, read on for my recipe. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. I made the cutlet filling ahead of time using the same method I usually use for cutlets: I ran the meat through a meat grinder together with onion, added a little bread soaked in milk, an egg, and salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

From the ground meat, shape 2 large elongated, thin cutlets and fry them over medium heat under a lid until cooked through.
- 3
Step 3

Start assembling the cheeseburger. Place several pieces of thinly sliced cheese on the slice of bread to cover it as much as possible.
- 4
Step 4

Place the patty on top.
- 5
Step 5

Cover everything with cheese again.
- 6
Step 6

Cover with a second slice of bread.
- 7
Step 7

Beat the eggs together with the cream, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- 8
Step 8

Dip the prepared cheeseburger on both sides in the egg mixture and hold briefly so the bread absorbs well but does not become completely soggy.
- 9
Step 9

Fry the French-style cheeseburger over medium heat until the egg sets and the cheese melts.

Step 10

Cheeseburger French toast is ready. Serve hot and enjoy!
