Cheeseburger on French Toast
Description
The appetizer is quick and easy to prepare. Use toast bread specifically; it does not get too soggy in the egg mixture, and the dish looks neater. French toast tastes better when fried in a mixture of vegetable oil and butter. It can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions

Step 1

Combine the ground beef with finely chopped onion, season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and knead the meat mixture.
- 2
Step 2

Shape three flat cutlets and fry them in vegetable oil until cooked through. While frying, press the cutlets with a spatula so they keep their flat shape.

Step 3

Place a slice of cheese on a slice of toast bread. Cheddar or mozzarella work well. If you prefer spicier dishes, you can spread something on it. Cover it with a slice of cheese and bread. Gently press the sandwich to make it flatter. Repeat the process with the remaining cutlets.

Step 4

Using a whisk, beat the eggs well with the milk and cream mixture. Add paprika, black pepper, and garlic powder. Season with salt to taste and mix again. Dip the cheeseburgers thoroughly in the milk-and-egg mixture so the bread soaks it up.

Step 5

Fry the cheeseburgers on a well-heated mixture of vegetable oil and butter on both sides. Flip with a wide spatula once a golden-brown crust has formed. Place the finished cheeseburgers on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Step 6

Serve immediately while the crust is still crispy. Both coffee and tomato juice make excellent accompaniments.
