
Chilean chupe
Description
This dish is a real explosion of flavor. Several types of fish and seafood are stewed with fried onions, cream, feta cheese, and regular cheese, then baked in the oven until a crispy cheese crust forms. The result is something like a fish version of a creamy casserole—simply delicious!

Step 1

Chop the onion and garlic and sauté with olive oil.

Add the bread previously soaked in milk and then squeezed. Fry everything together.

Add all the previously thawed seafood and all the pre-cut fish. Fry for about 7 minutes.

Add the cream, season with salt and pepper. Simmer over low heat until thickened.

Add the feta cheese, 2/3 of the cheese. Mix well.

Place in a mold or molds. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
