Ciabatta with nuts
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Traditionally, walnut ciabatta takes a long time to prepare, using a sourdough starter. I use a quick method with yeast. It's important to use hard wheat flour when making walnut ciabatta, so you can knead a firm, elastic dough. Be sure to dissolve the yeast in milk—it should be warm, not hot. The dough must ferment and rise well before baking. When baked, it develops a crispy crust and airy crumb. Good luck! Serve with tea or coffee.
