Chevapchichi with potatoes in the oven
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Chevapchichi are very easy to make. You just need to prepare regular ground meat. The trickiest part here is shaping the sausages. There are many ways to do it. You can use a plastic bottle, cut it, and push the meat through the neck. The same can be done using a juice carton. Finally, you can simply shape them by hand. I suggest the easiest method, which results in neat and uniformly sized chevapchichi. The finished dish is ready to be served.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for making ćevapi.
- 2
Step 2

Place the pork and beef mince into a bowl.

Step 3

Grind the onion and garlic in a meat grinder or blender. Add to the minced meat.

Step 6

Pour in highly carbonated water and thoroughly mix the meat mixture. Then beat it in portions against the table or the bottom of the bowl. This procedure will make the mixture more uniform, sticky, and pliable. Alternatively, you can simply blend the mixture with a blender. Cover the mixture with a plate or plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours, ideally 10–12 hours.

Step 7

Form the ćevapi to be 2-2.5 centimeters thick and 12-14 centimeters long. To do this, I used a disposable pastry bag. I cut a hole of the specified diameter with scissors and filled the bag with the meat mixture.
