Garlic in the Oven
Description
This appetizer is quick and easy to prepare. Of course, oven-roasted garlic isn’t as beneficial as fresh garlic, but it has its own charm. Most importantly, there’s no sharp smell or intense heat that so many of us find unpleasant. And how delicious it is to spread this garlic on toasted bread and top it with a slice of ham or sausage... mmm... And what a salad dressing you can make with this garlic! Read the recipe for oven-roasted garlic and head to the kitchen to bring it to life. 1. Remove the outer papery skin from the garlic heads and cut off about 1 cm from the tops to expose the cloves. 2. Pour salt into a ceramic dish, spread it evenly, and place the garlic cut-side up. 3. Drizzle the garlic with oil so that as much oil as possible gets inside the heads. 4. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 35–40 minutes. That’s it! The dish is ready. Serve the appetizer at the table.
