
Garlic sauce for croutons

Recipe for homemade sauce. If you love croutons and crackers, be sure to serve them with different sauces. One of the most popular and delicious is garlic sauce. It is made with cream and flour, resulting in a thick, aromatic mixture. Serve the sauce with meat, fish, or use it as a salad dressing.

Place a non-stick frying pan on the stove. Heat it up and add one tablespoon of premium wheat flour. Fry the flour until it turns golden.

Add a piece of butter to the flour, melt it and mix with the flour. Then lightly sauté both ingredients over low heat.

Pour heavy cream into the pan. Thoroughly mix it with the butter-flour mixture and simmer the sauce over low heat for five minutes.

Peel the garlic, press it through a garlic press or grate finely. Add the garlic to the skillet with the other ingredients and sprinkle in a little nutmeg. Stir and remove the sauce from the heat. Serve chilled.
