
Garlic Shrimp
Description
This recipe won't take much time. Shrimp are all the rage these days—the trendiest and most popular beer snack. Most often we boil them. Garlic shrimp made with this simple recipe are just as quick to prepare. The most important thing is not to overcook them. In my opinion, shrimp prepared this way taste much better :) Try it and see for yourself. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

Shrimp are best sautéed in garlic oil. Peel the garlic, crush it, and cover it with oil. You can add your favorite spices to the oil—dried herbs, pepper. Let the oil infuse for at least a couple of hours. Even better—overnight.

I fry the shrimp unpeeled—they come out juicier. If you have frozen shrimp, thaw them and squeeze out as much water as possible. Pour oil without garlic into a preheated skillet and, over high heat, sear the shrimp until they turn red. As soon as they’ve turned red, turn off the heat and cover the skillet with a lid. Under the lid, the shrimp will finish cooking.

Wash and finely chop the parsley. Sprinkle the shrimp with salt and parsley. That's it — the dish is ready!
