Garlic buns baked in the oven from yeast dough

120 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

This recipe uses fresh yeast and a little baking powder. That combination is what makes the buns light and airy and keeps them from going stale for a long time. You can use any herbs, but dill works best. For a sharper flavor, add a little hot pepper to the dressing. You can bake the buns in one large pan, in individual molds, or simply on a baking sheet—though in the last case they will turn out flatter. The baking is done. Serve at the table.
