Czech plundery

Description

So, Czech "plundry": the name comes from trousers. Remember those funny round men's knee-length pants from historical movies? Plundry were split with cuts, underneath which there was a lining (often of a different color than the main part), giving them an extravagant, comical look—hence they were also called "stuffed trousers." That's why Czechs named these flaky pastries with fringes "plundry." Actually, if you have a pack of puff pastry in your fridge, making plundry will be no trouble at all! The filling can be classic apple or any other of your choice. Very quick, simple, and delicious. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
