Prunes with nuts in sour cream
Description
Dried fruits are no less beneficial for the body than fresh fruits or vegetables. Moreover, they are available all year round, or you can prepare them in advance yourself. Prunes, like other dried fruits, can be used to prepare pilaf, porridge, soups, meat dishes (as a filling or side dish), as well as sauces and various desserts. Before cooking, they must be soaked for several minutes and then used.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Wash the prunes thoroughly, then place them in a small plate and pour boiling water over them (enough to completely cover). Let them soak for 5–10 minutes, depending on their size and dryness.

Step 2

2. Meanwhile, I shell the walnuts and cut each kernel into four pieces. I drain the water from the soaked prunes, place them on a paper towel, let them cool, and dry them. I cut a small piece off each prune to create a little pocket, then place a walnut piece into each one.

Step 3

3. I mix sour cream with sugar and beat with a mixer until the sugar granules dissolve. I place prunes at the bottom of serving molds, then add the sour cream cream, and refrigerate the molds for 3-5 hours.

Step 4

4. After the required time, I take the molds out of the refrigerator and sprinkle them with chopped walnuts.
