
Prunes with walnuts in cream
Description
The dessert is based on thick whipped cream and is very simple and quick to prepare. Whole prunes are pitted and stuffed with walnuts, then topped with sweet cream. This treat is served in small individual bowls, which looks very elegant. The dish is perfect as a festive dessert.

Prepare all the ingredients for making the dessert.

Remove walnuts from their shells and peel off the skins, then cut each walnut into 4 pieces. Lightly dry the walnuts in a dry skillet.

If you are using dried prunes, soak them in boiling water for about 5 minutes until soft, then dry them. Make a longitudinal slit in each prune, leaving one end uncut. This will create a pocket-like opening. Place a quarter of a walnut into each pocket. Reserve some walnuts for garnish. Press the prunes gently with your fingers to close them.

Add powdered sugar to the thick cream and beat the mixture with a mixer or electric whisk until you obtain a stable, fluffy mass.

Prepare two small bowls. Place 5 prune and nut preparations in the bottom of each.

Top with several tablespoons of sweet cream.

In the same manner, make 2-3 more layers of prunes and cream.

Chop the reserved nuts into pieces of various sizes with a knife. Sprinkle the top layer of the dessert with the nuts.
