Description

The recipe won't take much time. Let's prepare homemade blueberry wine. Keep in mind that during the entire winemaking process, the beverage must be stored in a dark and cool place. The finished wine should be stored in glass bottles tightly sealed with corks. Wine storage life is up to 3 years. Happy brewing! Serve chilled.

    Pass the washed blackberries through a juicer to separate the pulp from the juice.

    Pour the blueberry juice into a saucepan and add water (ratio: 1 part water to 4 parts juice).

    Now add sugar, following the same proportions as when adding water (1 to 4). Pour the blueberry must into a jar and tightly seal it with an airlock.

    Let's prepare the starter. Mash the black chokeberry in a mortar, add 3 tablespoons of sugar and 250 ml of water.

    Transfer the starter to a bottle and plug the neck with a cotton swab. Place the starter in a dark place for a week at a temperature of 20-23 degrees Celsius.

    Pour the wort into an enameled saucepan and heat to 45 degrees. Then add the starter, mix well, and pour the wort back into the jar, sealing it with an airlock. Keep the wort at a constant temperature of 20-23 degrees.

    After a week, the juice needs to be filtered by passing it through a colander.

    When clarifying the juice, one additional mandatory procedure must be carried out, namely "yeast feeding." For 1 liter of juice, dissolve 0.5 grams of ammonium chloride (ammonia powder) in a small amount of juice, then inject it with a syringe into the main portion of the juice.

    Fine filtration of blueberry wine is carried out every 10–12 days by transferring the liquid from one container to another. During this process, care should be taken not to disturb the sediment.
