
Bird cherry muffins
Description
The baked goods are easy and quick to make. Unusual baked goods from familiar ingredients, except for one that also gives the treats a beautiful chocolate color and almond aroma. So these muffins are even fine for people who cannot have chocolate or almond. The muffins turn out airy, with light flecks of bird cherry flour that you may notice slightly. If you like moist baked goods, soak the muffins on top with syrup, liqueur, or diluted condensed milk.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Melt the butter and let it cool.

Warm the milk until lukewarm, pour in the melted butter, add the sugar and salt, and mix until smooth and the crystals have dissolved.

Crack the egg into the milk mixture and mix until smooth.

Mix the wheat flour with the baking powder and bird cherry flour, then sift into the milk mixture.

Mix gently until smooth and even, with the consistency of thick sour cream.

Fill paper muffin cups two-thirds full with batter. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Put the bird cherry muffins in the hot oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, until done. When the time is up, take the muffins out and cool them completely.
