Lentils and Japanese Omelet
Description
The appetizer is quick and easy to prepare. Tamago omelet and boiled lentils make an excellent source of protein, which is so essential on a heavy workday. You can serve this dish for dinner or as a snack for work or university, packed in a lunch box. You can replace the tuna with any other fish or even chicken breast. I recommend fresh vegetables as a side. Serve the appetizer at the table.

Step 1

1. Boil the lentils until done (brown lentils take about 15 minutes). First, beat the eggs well with a whisk together with the sugar and soy sauce. Then grease the entire surface of the pan with vegetable oil, heat it, and pour in a thin layer of omelet.

Step 2

2. Cook it on one side and roll it into a roll using chopsticks or a spatula. Then pour a new portion of omelet, slightly lifting the already cooked one so they stick together.

Step 3

3. Roll the omelet into a roll again. Continue doing this until you have no egg mixture left.

Step 4

4. Next, place the omelet on a board and cut it into even portions. Place the omelet and cooked lentils in a lunch box. Add a little tuna to the lentils. Place the vegetables in a separate compartment.
