Chebureki in a cauldron
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. Who among us doesn’t like to snack on hearty pies or chebureki? Since this dish is quick and easy to prepare, you can make it at home as well. Instead of ground beef, you can use lamb or chicken.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Crack the chicken egg into a deep bowl, add 3 pinches of salt, and pour in the water. Whisk thoroughly.
- 3
Step 3

Pour in the vodka and stir, add the wheat flour and knead the dough, leaving a little flour for rolling out.
- 4
Step 4

Cover the finished dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for about 20 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Meanwhile, finely dice the onion into the ground beef, add salt and ground black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly.
- 6
Step 6

Divide the dough into several parts, roll each of them into a round sheet, dusting the work surface with flour. Spread the prepared filling over half of the dough, but not in a thick layer—smear it on instead. If the filling layer is too dense, it won’t have time to cook through inside!
- 7
Step 7

Moisten the edges of the dough with water and seal them together. Dip a fork in flour and make patterns along the edges of the pieces.
- 8
Step 8

Preheat the cauldron and fry all the prepared pieces in it. This can be done in two ways: fry the prepared piece without oil until nicely charred and then brush with oil, or fry in well-heated vegetable oil until golden brown.
- 9
Step 9

Serve the chebureki hot, with a variety of sauces and drinks.
