Greek-style chebureki
Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. Want to experiment with filling and dough? Then I suggest making Greek-style chebureki at home. They are made just like regular chebureki, only in a smaller size. In many families, this dish is traditional and prepared very often. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Step 1

1. First, prepare the dough: dissolve the salt in water, add vinegar, lard, and finally flour (as much as needed). Knead the dough thoroughly until it becomes elastic.

Step 2

2. Making Greek-style chebureki at home is not difficult at all. The main thing is to make the "right" dough. Once the dough is ready, let it rest for about 10 minutes. Then divide it into portions and roll each portion out one by one. Place the filling in the center (I used ready-made minced meat and added a bit of water to make it very juicy).

Step 3

3. Cover the filling with the second half of the rolled dough and trim using a regular plate. If you have a special knife for chebureks, use it.

Step 4

4. Fry the chebureki in a large amount of oil. I added a bit of lard. Another secret—cover your pan with a special grease screen while frying. It's best to place the fried chebureki into a deep bowl and cover it with a lid. However, if you prefer them crispy, then do not leave them in the bowl for too long. They turn out small in size—this is their main secret.
