
Chebureks from dumpling dough
Description
Homemade chebureks are very easy to make from dumpling dough. From a simple set of ingredients you get a wonderful treat for the whole family. The dough is prepared very simply – based on flour, water and salt. In addition, a little vegetable oil is added so the dough doesn’t stick to the hands during kneading. You can use any filling for these chebureks – meat, cheese, or vegetable. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Prepare the ingredients for making chebureks from dumpling dough.

Prepare the ingredients for the filling.

Sift the flour into a bowl and add salt so that the dough is not bland.

Add water to the flour.

Mix the flour with the liquid and add 0.5 tbsp of vegetable oil so that the dough becomes more elastic and doesn’t stick to your hands.

Knead a moderately soft dough, cover it with a towel, and let it rest for 15 minutes.

For the filling, cut the pork and onion into large pieces.

Blend the filling in a blender or a meat grinder, add salt and pepper to taste. If the filling looks dry, pour in a little water for juiciness.

Divide the dough into 6–7 pieces, roll each one thinly, and cut out a circle using a plate.

Place the meat filling on one half of the dough.

Pinch the chebureks. You can press the edge with a fork to make it look nicer.

Fry the chebureks on both sides in a pan with added vegetable oil. Chebureks fry quickly in hot oil – about 2‑3 minutes.
