Mango chutney is a very popular Indian condiment that, thanks to its spices and unique preparation method, greatly stimulates the appetite. It is usually served before the main course, along with some kind of appetizer. In our family, mango chutney is used in various ways—we spread it on bread, add it to pancakes, serve it with fritters and different snacks... Peel the mango.

Mango flesh should be mashed with a spoon until it reaches a puree-like consistency.

Heat the oil in a skillet and sauté the pepper and spices for 1-2 minutes over high heat.

Now add the lemon juice and mix.

Immediately add the mango and reduce the heat. Simmer, stirring, for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat, cool down - and it's ready! Store in the refrigerator.
