Step 1

Wash the young veal and dry it with paper towels. Separate the meat from the bones, trim off any sinews and membranes. Then cut the veal into small, evenly sized pieces.

Place the sliced meat into a saucepan of suitable size and pour half a liter of cold drinking water into it. Add the butter and turn on the lowest heat. Let the meat simmer, covered with a lid.

Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and pour boiling water over them. Peel them, then grate the tomatoes on a grater. To chop the tomatoes, you can also use a blender.

Peel the onion and garlic and chop them into small pieces using a sharp knife.

When the meat in the pot is almost ready, add chopped onion and garlic. Cover the pot with a lid and simmer for ten minutes over low heat.
