
Honey chak-chak
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Honey chak-chak is a traditional Eastern sweet beloved for its crunchy texture and rich caramel-honey flavor. Tender fried pieces of dough are generously coated with thick, aromatic honey syrup, turning into a golden, sticky, and extremely appetizing mound of delight. This treat is incredibly easy to make and will be a wonderful addition to your tea time. Serve the finished dessert right away.

It's convenient to lay out all the ingredients on the table right away.

Sift the flour into a large bowl.

Add the eggs to it.

Knead the dough until it doesn't stick to your hands. Add a little water if necessary.

Roll out the dough on a work surface into a thin layer and cut into thin noodles.

In a saucepan with a thick bottom, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and add the noodle dough in batches.

Place all the fried dough pieces into a large bowl and let them cool.

Over low heat, warm until the sugar is completely melted, stirring with a spatula. The syrup is ready.

Now line a convenient mold with plastic wrap and place a handful of fried dough pieces at the bottom. Pour a couple of tablespoons of syrup over them and mix well. Then add another handful of dough pieces and top with more syrup.

Do the same with all the pieces of dough and all the syrup. Then place the filled mold in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours.

Place the finished chak-chak onto a flat serving dish after removing it from the mold and taking off the plastic wrap, then serve.
