Rosemary and ginger tea
Description
This healthy tea will be enjoyed by both adults and children, especially when served with various desserts, fresh baked goods, or sandwiches. You can brew the tea in a thermos beforehand, but it should be stored for no more than 2–3 hours, otherwise the drink will start to taste bitter. The beverage is ready to serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use fresh rosemary or green tea instead of black tea.
- 2
Step 2

Place a tea bag in the teapot or substitute it with 1 tablespoon of loose tea leaves. Add dried rosemary to it as well.
- 3
Step 3

Peel a piece of ginger root and slice it, then add to the teapot. Do not add too much, as the drink will become bitter. Moderation is key!
- 4
Step 4

Boil water and pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover the container with a lid and let it steam for 5-10 minutes.

Step 5

Then add granulated sugar and the sliced lemon pieces. It's better not to add the lemon at the beginning, as the tea won't color properly. Sugar can be replaced with floral honey to make the drink even more beneficial. However, in this case, the honey should be added to the tea only after it has cooled down to 30 degrees to preserve its beneficial properties.

Step 6

Pour the hot tea into cups or glasses, and serve at the table with delicious pastries.
