
Honeyberry and ginger tea
Description
The drink is quick and easy to prepare. Green tea with ginger is invigorating, refreshing, and strengthening on its own. And sea buckthorn adds not only a pleasant tartness but also beneficial vitamins. The tea turns out unsweetened, so you can confidently add honey or brown sugar. By steeping sea buckthorn and ginger tea in a thermos, you can take a boost of energy with you to work or school. Serve chilled.

Sort the berries, rinse them thoroughly, and dry. Place them in a bowl.

Now you need to crush the sea buckthorn. Use a masher or an ordinary tablespoon. The berries should release their juice.

Add a slice of lemon and green tea to the sea buckthorn. Also add a piece of fresh ginger or one pinch of dried ground ginger.

Pour the resulting mixture with water at a temperature of about 90 degrees. Cover the container and let it steep for 5-7 minutes.

You can optionally add honey to the tea. Strain before drinking. Serve with jam, cookies, or gingerbread.
