To prepare chakhokhbili, we will need a kazan or a pot with thick walls. Place the butter into the kazan and melt it.

Dice the onion and sauté it in oil until soft.

Then the onion should be transferred to a plate together with the oil.

Cut the chicken into portion pieces, rinse, and place in a cauldron.
