Description
Homemade baking for tea. For true sweet lovers and chocolate fans, this cake will be a real delight. Tender cake base, meringue and chocolate paste layers, nuts for a pleasant crunch, and a rich creamy filling—combined, they make a truly amazing dessert worthy of a royal table. Although the process takes some time, it's actually quite simple. So I highly recommend you save this recipe.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. First, beat the carefully separated egg whites with sugar until stiff peaks form.
- 2
Step 2

2. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and place in a preheated oven at 120 degrees.
- 3
Step 3

3. Bake the meringue for about two hours.
- 4
Step 4

4. To prepare the crust, first combine all dry ingredients (sifted flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar). Mix thoroughly. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees at the same time.
- 5
Step 5

5. Brew a cup of natural coffee. Separately combine the butter, eggs, kefir, vanilla extract, and coffee. Beat the liquid ingredients until smooth.
- 6
Step 6

6. Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry ones and mix until a smooth dough forms.
- 7
Step 7

7. I recommend baking the cake layer on the same baking sheet as the meringue, to make assembling the cake easier. Spread the batter into an even layer.
- 8
Step 8

8. Bake the cake layer for about 25 minutes until done. Let it cool thoroughly afterward.
- 9
Step 9

9. To make the cream, in a small bowl beat softened butter with cream cheese. Add a pinch of salt and vanilla extract for flavor. Once the mixture becomes fluffy, add the condensed milk.
- 10
Step 10

10. Whip the cream for a couple of minutes until it becomes fluffy.
- 11
Step 11

11. Cut the well-cooled cake and meringue in half.
- 12
Step 12

12. It's time to assemble the cake. Place a cake layer, spread it with cream, and sprinkle with a handful of nuts.
- 13
Step 13

13. Spread the meringue layer with chocolate paste and place it on the cake (paste side down).
- 14
Step 14

14. Spread the meringue top again with the paste and sprinkle with nuts. Place the second meringue layer, also spread with paste, on top.
- 15
Step 15

15. Another crust.
- 16
Step 16

16. Spread the remaining cream evenly over it.
- 17
Step 17

17. You can decorate the cake with nuts and melted chocolate. Let it chill for at least a couple of hours before serving, but it's best to leave it overnight.
