Easter kulich
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Today you can buy ready-made Easter bread at the store, but most people still prefer to make this pastry themselves. It is baked with the addition of raisins, dried apricots, candied fruits, poppy seeds, and more. The loaves are covered with icing, sprinkled with decorative sugar, and other toppings. The baking is ready. Serve at the table.

Step 1
Melt the butter and let it cool slightly. Pour all the milk into a bowl and warm it up, then add the melted butter, beat in the chicken eggs and add the yeast, granulated sugar, salt, sour cream, and vanilla. Mix well.

Step 2
Sift the flour and add 560 grams to the dough; the consistency should be like thick sour cream. Mix well. Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for 2 hours.

Step 3
After the required time, remove with a towel and gradually add the remaining flour in portions, kneading until you get a soft and elastic dough.

Step 4
Mix the raisins (or any other add-ins) into the dough, cover the dough with a towel, and let it sit for another 2 hours.
- 5
Step 5
Grease the Easter bread molds, divide the dough into 8 parts and place into the greased molds, let rise for a few more hours.
- 6
Step 6
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35–40 minutes, until a golden crust forms.
- 7
Step 7
Remove the kulich from the oven and take it out of the mold (if it is reusable), then leave it to cool on a wire rack.

Step 8
Melt the white chocolate and use the resulting mixture to coat the cooled buns, decorate with sprinkles, and leave to set.
