Quick Chocolate Marshmallow
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The dessert turns out quite sweet, so you can slightly reduce the amount of sugar, use dark chocolate, or add citric acid to the syrup. If for some reason you can't use honey, replace it with invert syrup. To make delicious marshmallows, be sure to use high-quality chocolate. The whipping time depends on your mixer's power. Do not place the marshmallows in the refrigerator to set, as they will start "sweating" when brought back to room temperature. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making quick chocolate marshmallow.
- 2
Step 2

Put the gelatin into a saucepan, pour cold boiled water over it, and leave to swell for 40–60 minutes. The time may vary depending on the type of gelatin.
- 3
Step 3

Add sugar to the saucepan with the prepared gelatin and place over low heat. Stir the mixture until the crystals dissolve, but do not bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
- 4
Step 4

Place the chocolate in another bowl and add honey. Melt the chocolate with honey over a double boiler, stirring, until smooth.
- 5
Step 5

Pour the gelatin with sugar into the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- 6
Step 6

Beat the chocolate mixture with a mixer until it becomes light and fluffy. It should increase in volume by 2-2.5 times.
- 7
Step 7

Line the mold with plastic wrap and grease it with odorless and tasteless vegetable oil. Pour in the airy mixture, smooth it out, and let it sit at room temperature for 4-6 hours until fully set.
- 8
Step 8

Remove the finished chocolate marshmallow from the mold along with the film and cut it into pieces with a clean knife. Sprinkle the marshmallows with cocoa powder and serve.
