Quick roll
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Quick recipes always come in handy, especially when unexpected guests drop by. This roll takes about 10 minutes to bake in the oven and around 10 minutes to prepare the dough. The filling can vary: jam or jelly, fruits, cream, condensed milk, or even honey with nuts. The finished dish can be served immediately.

Step 1

1. Every homemaker has quick-and-easy recipes. This is one of them. Beat the eggs into a fluffy foam. I usually do this with a mixer on "Turbo" mode.
- 2
Step 2

2. Gradually add the powder and flour. Mix the dough by hand, without using a mixer, then line the baking tray with parchment paper or baking paper—preferably use a regular baking sheet. Pour the resulting mixture onto the sheet, spreading it evenly across the surface.

Step 3

3. The edges should be even so that they can be rolled up later and the roll turns out symmetrical.
- 4
Step 4

4. Bake this roll at 180 degrees for about 10-15 minutes. There should be no browning, so as soon as the biscuit starts to brown, take it out.

Step 5

5. Spread the jam or jelly in the middle (you can also use buttercream, nuts with honey, or condensed milk), then roll it up and place it on a serving plate.

Step 6

6. Sprinkle the resulting roll with powdered sugar and serve. You can slice it right away for an attractive presentation and easy serving onto plates.
