Quick bread in the oven
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. To make the bread soft and airy, don't forget to sift the flour. Instead of dry yeast, you can use fresh yeast. To vary the recipe, add seeds or bran to the dough. This bread stays fresh even after several days. To serve, warm or chilled. Ideal with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Warm the water until it is slightly warm. Pour it into a bowl, add salt, sugar, and dry yeast.
- 2
Step 2

Pour in the olive oil. It will give your bread a special aroma. If you don't have olive oil on hand, you can use regular odorless sunflower oil.
- 3
Step 3

Sift the high-grade wheat flour through a sieve several times. This will oxygenate the flour, helping the bread rise well during baking. Add the flour to the yeast mixture.
- 4
Step 4

Mix, then place the dough onto a work surface previously dusted with flour. Knead until smooth and elastic.
- 5
Step 5

Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it sit in a warm place for 30 minutes. During this time, the dough should double in size.
- 6
Step 6

After the dough has risen, knead it with your hands. Then shape it into a loaf, place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let the dough rest for another 15 minutes, then bake the bread in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
