
Quick rye flatbreads
Description
The baking is simple and quick. Rye flour pastries are considered very healthy, especially when making flatbreads with yogurt or kefir. These flatbreads make an excellent alternative to wheat bread and are perfect as a base for sandwiches or snacks. The total preparation time for these flatbreads is 40 minutes, making this recipe ideal for last-minute guests. In this recipe, natural yogurt can be replaced with kefir, and olive oil with another high-quality refined vegetable oil. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

1. Mix rye flour with salt, sugar, and baking powder. Combine yogurt with olive oil and gradually add the flour mixture in parts, kneading the dough.

2. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 20 minutes. Generously flour a cutting board, place the dough on it, shape it into a rope, and cut it into six pieces.

3. Roll out each portion into a 1 cm thick flatbread. Place the flatbreads onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and prick them with a fork.
