Description
Dough based on margarine and yeast turns out perfect for this kind of baking. You can make the pie open or closed—whichever you prefer. The filling can also vary: meat, poultry, mushrooms, or, as in our case, fish. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

1. The filling for this pie can be of various kinds. I usually make a fish pie, since my family loves fish in any form. For the dough, we need softened butter or margarine. Grate it on a grater and add flour.

2. Rub with flour and add yeast, sugar, and salt. Continue rubbing with a wooden spoon or masher.

3. Add the eggs at the very end and knead the dough. Use as much flour as the dough can absorb. It is very important that the dough is elastic and does not stick to hands, but at the same time, it should not be too stiff.

4. That's it, our quick fish pie dough is ready! Place it in a warm spot for at least half an hour, then it's ready to be transferred onto a baking sheet or into a pie pan.
