Quick stovetop pizza
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. When you don't have time to stand by the stove, but still want to treat your loved ones, this recipe will come in handy. An ideal snack for the whole family, as well as a great idea for a hearty breakfast. The filling can be absolutely anything—you can use just the dough as a base. Today I'll be making pizza with sausage, tomatoes, and cheese. The baked dish is ready. Serve it at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients for the pizza. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Prepare the filling right away.
- 2
Step 2

In a deep bowl, combine the egg and salt. Beat well.
- 3
Step 3

Add the sour cream and mix.
- 4
Step 4

At the end, add the flour and baking powder.
- 5
Step 5

Mix everything until smooth. The dough should be quite sticky.
- 6
Step 6

Spray the pan with vegetable oil and place it over the lowest heat. Pour in the batter and spread it out, moving from the center of the pan toward the edges. I like to dip a clean spoon into cold water first—this keeps the batter from sticking and allows me to spread it quickly and evenly. It's best to use a pan with a diameter of 27–30 cm.
- 7
Step 7

Cover the pan with a lid and let the top set, 3-5 minutes will be enough.
- 8
Step 8

Once the dough has set on top, brush it with ketchup or your favorite sauce to taste.
- 9
Step 9

Sprinkle with oregano.
- 10
Step 10

Sprinkle about 2/3 of the cheese on top.
- 11
Step 11

Place the sliced sausage.
- 12
Step 12

Then sliced tomatoes.
- 13
Step 13

Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Cover the pan again with a lid, turn the heat slightly higher (about just below medium), and cook for another 10–15 minutes.
- 14
Step 14

I go by the cheese (it should melt well) and the golden-brown bottom; the main thing is not to overcook it. If your pan is small, it might take a bit longer, since the batter will be thicker.
- 15
Step 15

Quick skillet pizza is ready!
- 16
Step 16

Thin dough and juicy filling — very delicious!
